Our Story

Elevate’s work today is shaped by years of learning across education, wellness, and community contexts.

Elevate Education Solutions emerged from years of lived experience across diverse educational and human environments — classrooms, school communities, holiday camps, and nature-based wellness settings.

Over time, a consistent pattern became visible: meaningful learning and growth are shaped not only by curriculum and instruction, but by access, environment, wellbeing, and the systems that surround people. When these systems are fragmented, the burden often shifts onto learners and educators to compensate.

At the heart of this work sits a simple conviction: potential is universal — but access is not.

Working across rural, peri-urban, and independent school contexts in Namibia — and later within immersive wellness settings — revealed the same truth in different forms: people thrive when support is designed holistically, not in silos.

Elevate was shaped in response to this insight.

Rather than separating development, wellbeing, and resources into disconnected interventions, Elevate brings them into relationship — partnering with schools to strengthen the ecosystem around learning. This includes people-centred development work, practical planning support, and access to essential resources, all aligned through a reinvestment-based partnership model.

The result is not a programme or product, but a way of working — one that values dignity, listens deeply to context, and builds capacity over time. The result is not a programme or product, but a way of working — one that values dignity, listens deeply to context, and builds capacity over time.

Elevate continues to evolve, informed by experience, grounded in service, and committed to designing systems that allow schools and communities to grow from within.

Founder

Roeline Hansen is an educator, facilitator, and systems-focused practitioner whose work spans education, wellness, and community development across diverse contexts in Namibia.

Her experience includes classroom teaching and school leadership, learner development initiatives, and community-based enrichment work, alongside wellness facilitation in safari and retreat settings. Across these environments — from schools and holiday camps to natural, immersive spaces — Roeline has worked with individuals and groups to cultivate presence, self-regulation, resilience, and embodied awareness.

This cross-context experience has shaped her integrated approach to education: one that recognises learning, wellbeing, access, and environment as deeply interconnected. Whether working with children during the Kids Holiday Camp, with learners and communities in under-resourced regions, or with individuals in nature-based settings, wellness has consistently informed how she designs spaces for growth and transformation.

Roeline is currently completing her certification as a SEE Learning (Social, Emotional & Ethical Learning) Facilitator through Emory University’s Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics, strengthening Elevate’s grounding in evidence-informed, compassion-centred educational frameworks.

Elevate Education Solutions was born from her long-standing commitment to ensuring that access, dignity, and opportunity are not determined by geography or circumstance, but intentionally designed into the systems that serve schools and communities. Elevate reflects this philosophy — practical, relational, and rooted in lived experience.
